The introduction of 18.8m new shares of any stock is likely to temporarily dilute the PPS. This doesn’t mean the lender sold the shares. You certainly have every right to speculate but readers of this message board should not consider that imperial evidence. IMO, the lender capitalized on an contractual opportunity to convert to 18.8m shares that they are counting on being infinitely more valuable than the original principle loan amount. Smart lender!
