Revisiting the Nilvad Trial.
Roskamp Institute has had a 10 year record of working with Nilvadipine in their effort to find a breakthrough in the battle to tame Alzheimer's Disease. What early indication did they have that it seemed to slow AD's progression, that would lead them to undergo a multi-year, nine country, and 23 locality study, only to come up empty.
It boggles my mind that, that much effort would be undertaken without some pretty hard evidence that NILVAD had shown some success in slowing AD's progression. Additionally, I would have expected that given all that effort, the results of that effort should have been revealed!
There is no shame in a failed AD study since 99.6 % of similar studies have failed!!!
