Perhaps it could have been worded better, but they linked to the Freeze Tag site, which features recent PRs about the merger. IMO, the PR about the merger officially closing has to come from Freeze Tag, so Munzee has to word things carefully.

Munzee also pointed this out: "AlternaMyths are Mythological Munzees deployed on behalf of members of Team Munzee exclusively."

So why did they announce that AlternaMyths are now also deployed for the Freeze Tag folks?

Because they (Freeze Tag/Munzee) are all one team.
