Ired would open up the esophageal and colon cancer market, and with the current improvements in diagnostics there would be a flurry of temporary activity cleaning up all the latent cancers that could now be imaged with iblue.
I know of a private diagnostics company that has developed a way of telling as soon as a disease is present, but although knowing that would be valuable to have a urologist start imaging today with the white light, they won't find many early stage cancers so it would be impractical to do a lot of painful ugly examinations. Even iblue would be able to clean up a lot of those that the new diagnostic identifies exist, but ired would be necessary to clean up the whole inventory of latent cancers in their tracks.
Ired would wipe bladder cancer off the map.
Ired would be to bladder cancer just like the rat patrols in Alberta in Canada (which is rat free) are to rats because every time one is sighted crossing the border the patrols hunt them down with extreme prejudice.
