Voting is a basic fundamental principle of any democracy. The citizens have to believe that voting is honest and not corrupted. Can blockchain do that? Possibly, but it's also electronic. Listen to the news everyday and it's story after story about who or what company was hacked.. Equifax, Target, DNC, etc.. I doubt even 5% of the general public has even heard of blockchain, and if they have, no idea how it works, but they can tell you its some sort of electronic system. Hmmm, electronic voting that is secure? Good luck convincing Ma & Pa of that. The market is all about timing, and this isnt the time for blockchain voting systems.
