Are we really sure they've been in a position to market their services until the last month or so? And even then, their sales capabilities have been quite limited, as it appears they're recently emerging from a crucial R&D stage.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not especially pleased with the fat zero in the revenue column at this point either, but it seems a significant part of their overall strategy is to integrate Northern Vine with Raybot Technologies. Going back to the PR on August 23:

Delivery of two Raybot extraction machines is expected in the fall of 2017 ... With the integration of Raybot’s technology and Northern Vine’s extraction and testing capabilities, Northern Vine is in the final stages of validating its various methods for a full array of services that include testing for potency, pesticides and heavy metals.

The arrival of the new machines will mark the beginning of the Company’s large-scale cannabinoid extraction business plan, which it hopes to replicate across Canada and globally.

Only recently have they added a full lab crew and posted hints that staff is conducting sales presentations in the general area. And not that this revelation would be jaw dropping news, but you could argue that Abattis has hinted that it's already performing small tests for some clients on a smaller scale:

"We are very pleased with the progress of Northern Vine and are working hard to become a premiere cannabis laboratory and extraction processing center. Northern Vine is now poised for further growth and expansion. Given the progress of Northern Vine’s development, we anticipate that we will be ready for larger volume licensed producer (LP) clients by next quarter." (Northern Vine and Abattis President and CEO, Robert Abenante)

Of course, even when the facility is prepared to take on "larger" clients, I'm sure they don't just walk out of presentations with signed contracts in hand. It probably takes weeks', if not months', worth of back and forth and business small talk to make the potential client feel comfortable. I would hope they're already reaching out to larger LP's right now in anticipation of having the capacity to handle larger volumes of tests in the upcoming months.

But, right now, we have a statement that specifically holds the CEO accountable for the last quarter of 2017. Let's see what comes of it. And if it's followed by nothing but dead air, I'll happily help you all hoist the WTF flags.
