Not recently. I did a straddle a while back on SNAP. It crashed. The calls tanked and the puts didn't move. I haven't played a straddle or spread since then.

I like the bull call spread though. Where you buy a call at strike or one higher and sell a call significantly higher. That has worked for me in the past, but you have to have the cash to do the deal if the contract you sold is executed.

Almost always, I am trying to get in and out same day, take the money and run. Rinse and repeat...
