For sure, we both live close to some epic waves, think Santa Cruz's are a little better, but you diffinatly have warmer water, however this year, I went in with out a wet suit all summer, but just ordered me and my son two new suits, O'neill epic suits, I could not resist the name, and after all, they are supposed to be epic, before you buy your board, check out degree 33 surf boards, think I may be buying my next one from them,
