Well, I think another angle here is that by pursuing this suit, DOLV is sending a clear statement that they don't want any association with the previous incarnations under the DOLV corporate shell or the previous (shady) management team.

In addition to recovering the shares, the are sending out the messages that "we are not those guys" and "we are not going to operate that way".
