Having said that, I believe 2018 is the breakout year and the time for discounted accumulation is running short. All the ducks are in a row, and most of you know the catalysts.
I might be in the minority, but I also support how leadership has handled the growth strategy. The only strategic area I would like to see addressed sooner than later, is the production capacity. When approval is granted, or a stockpiling deal is reached, its going to require a large ramp up in annual dosages produced. Currently, I believe the capacity of their facility is 150k doses a year. This will not be enough to supply even a single indication, or a stockpiling agreement. Im as confident as you can be in the tranformative nature of the cells, the inly speedbump I see standing in the way of explosive growth is production capacity.
Id like to retain as much of the IP as possible, but one tradeoff Id be willing to entertain is for immediate production scalability via partnership. Not only would it allow for more immediate revenue realization, it would solve any potential pipeline bottlenecks....and the pipeline is only scratching the surface currenly. Perhaps they can also get creative with a stockpiling deal with the US gov by including a production facility buildout as part of the deal.
The next 14 months are going to be exciting, good luck to everyone.
