Anyone counting on Mel Watt to do anything other than show up to work and collect his paycheck is on the wrong track. He was placed by Obama as a stooge to sit back and deflect, he does not have the understanding let alone the stones to do what's right.

I wouldn't worry about tax reform, or any part of it getting done, especially after what DJT di with healthcare. Dems will be even bigger obstructionists now than ever before regardless if good for their constituents or not.

This thing is going to run it's course, the only thing Congress is even close on agreeing to is that GSE's pose risk and caused the crisis. Only reason is enough on both sides will make windfalls when 2ndary market is given to TBTF.
