What I find funny is the constant reminders of past missed milestones. The company is clearly in a different commercial status than 3 years ago. The market has evolved and continues to open up and grow. Yet there are those who try to compare near term potential to 3 years ago.
Yes, some of us may have been excited 3 years ago and thought they were close, but clearly the market didn't open up until Samsung started it in 2015 for displays. Some others started in late 2015 with cadmium based products only to switch gears in 2016.
So now, in 2017, we are clearly moving toward cadmium free based products and the market appears to be ready to move forward with recent new launches from Innolux, Phillips, and AUO that all have been confirmed to be cadmium free per the individual companies. Whether or not they are stretching the truth by using Nanoysys Hyperion is yet to be determined, but it's clear the companies want to be seen as cadmium free.
Now is a good time for Nanoco and QMC to be meeting customers specifications and meeting the demand as the market grows.
