Good to be back folks

Had an acute ischemic stroke last Friday (full blown according to docs)
Spent 3 days in the hospital.
Don't quite know why yet either, blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol(good and bad) are all perfect.

Have a couple more tests and checks to go through.

Wife says I am very lucky, it only affected my left leg.

Talk about weird, no signs no warnings just 'boom' to the ground.
Everything was normal. Just had my morning coffee and got up from table to go and shower for work. Down I went, no left leg under me.
At first I thought my leg had fallen asleep but it didn't go away. Thought I'd better call my wife at her work and she flipped out. She was home right away and off to emergency room.
I, never in my life, have seen an ER react so quickly. From the moment I walked in there were 3 nurses working on me (vitals). Within 20 minutes of walking in the front door I had 2 ct scans, both came back negative. Later in the afternoon had an MRI and it showed two little spots I guess.
Leg and parts (foot, ankle, toes) are still weak but getting a little better.
Anyhow, good to be back!!!
