Oct. 14,15--Two more days of Indian Summer. Mid 80s. It will end tonight. A cold front has finally managed the strength to push its way south. Upper 60s/upper 40s the next few days.
I've planted more seeds. Carrot, mustard green, cabbage, collard. Cleared out weeds from the beds with the hand whacker tool. Works great. I've cleared out all the disease cucumber vines, discarding them in the refuse bin. I found a few cukes and left them with Danny.
Saturday afternoon CC the Calico Cat decided to take back her nap chair. She fluffed up the fleece, settled down and took a long luxurious nap. Little Rico came out from the greenhouse, saw her in the chair. I picked him up before he did something regrettable.
Sunday the two cats approached each other for a moment without incident.
I discovered Dreama did send the photo of the kale greens.
