Recreational use going legal in Canada will make it easier and probably more mainstream to do research on marijuana and cannabis. InMed's biosynthesis allows them to mass produce cannabinoids, including CBD and THC, without the expense of growing plants. So to answer your question, any recreational product that uses extracted THC or CBD could, theoretically, substitute a much cheaper biosynthesized product using InMed's technique. It will be interesting to see if/when they license it for recreational production .
