For those of you interested in my snake trip photos...here ya go!
We're on the drive home now...hiked roughly 6 miles, approximately half of which was up along the rock faces. We are so ridiculously sore, we can barely walk...glad I decided to take Monday off and not head back to Ohio tomorrow as originally planned.
Facebook apparently won't let me link to the album so I have to link to my individual posts which were limited to 30 photos max.
All in all we found: 43 cottonmouths 2 ribbon snakes plain bellied watersnake 2 rough green snakes 11 cave salamanders green frog 3 green tree frogs gray treefrog musk turtle 7 cricket frogs 5 leopard frogs black ratsnake 3 long tailed salamanders western smooth earth snake
This was one of our most productive trips ever...at times we were literally tripping over cottonmouths.
