Cause for Optimism:
Since Nov 4, administratively and politically, things are working favorably and the optimism is realistic.

Cause for both optimism and pessimism:
In courts things are moving slowly but eventually rule of law will prevail with constitutional challenges.

Cause for pessimism:
Only bad news is, Mel Watt, FHFA conservator surreptitiously continues to pursue Obama policies of wind down for the benefit of Bank/MBA lobbyists. But there are good chances that single Director as head of FHFA may become unconstitutional leading to more public accountability at FHFA and respect for rule of law.
