Little Rico has discovered the chair in the greenhouse. He took a long afternoon nap on a red sweater I placed on the chair. His hair is getting longer. He will grow a lion's mane. The little stinker will stand his ground when CC the Calico Cat has had just about enough of him. He even followed me into the raised beds.
I also picked some spinach for Fred. The heat wave never allowed them to develop fully. I also picked a combination of collar greens, the two varieties of mustard greens and topped it off with kale greens for Big Joe.
And I planted more collar greens and a row of carrots. Why not? A front will arrive Monday but the truly cold weather won't appear until late November.
