Because the Canadian stock trades more often, while the bid and ask on US side tracks the stock. So if the last trade yesterday was at 2.78, even though the bid and ask were around 2.95 at close, the next day when US trades it is going to show that it is up, even though Canada is flat, and so is the US version in essence. Make sense?
