Some suspicious things about the press release:
1. The phrase in the press release "Sino Agro's Chairman and CEO elaborated" is inconsistent with prior releases. The company is almost always referred to as "Sino Agro Food", not "Sino Agro".
2 In the same phrase above, Solomon Lee is not named. This is a highly unusual way to reference him.
3. The press release is issued via MarketWired, as opposed to PR Newswire which is typically used.
4. And, of course as everyone noted, the press release is not on its company web site, its Facebook page or its Twitter page.
5. I could be wrong on this, but doesn't a press release require a follow-up 8-K filing?
The fact that the company has not commented on any of this is also very strange.
