Only 16% of the population of Spain live in Catalonia, with their own language and culture who love being part of the EU.
But the stakes for Spain are high. Losing Catalonia would deprive Spain of 20% of its economic output and more than 26% of its exports.
Let the real estate pozi-scheme nation of Spain deal with its own problems, without tax subsidies from Catalonia or Palma de Mallorca.
On the Atlantic coast in the section of Spain bordering France live the Basques, with their capitol in Bilbao, who'd dearly love to leave the fascism of Spain as well.
