I'm not talking about police but the general public. They don't need these weapons and from my perspective the ones who think they will need these weapons are frightened little people who think having a gun like that makes them an adult. Or they have been watching to many movies where hordes are attacking the good guys. But in their dreams they are just dull people leading dull lives and these guns make them feel powerful because in real life they are losers.
