shareholders who still hold upon revocation essentially become shareholders in a private company. any transactions would have to be private as there will be no public market for the shares. your brokerage will replace the ticker symbol with a cusip # and the value will show nothing. at that point you can have the shares declared worthless and take the tax deduction or you can hold them and hope the company submits two years of audited financials along with a form 10 to reregister the shares. at the very least that unlikely process takes 6 months or more.
