Obviously you do not appreciate the significance of Intel's news. The price of Quantum Computing will drop, it will no longer take a $10,000,000 DWAVE Quantum Computer to use this technology.

Eventually large resolution image processing , including scaling, will be done on Quantum Chips. Moore's Law has run into a brick wall which is why CPU technology has branched off into multi core solutions. We should be using 10GHZ CPUs now.

Single threaded operations are barely faster than 5 years ago.
