RD; Uncertainty depresses the PPS frown

If no collateral shares are sold, and we're under an illegal short attack, then disclosing this could - by itself - increase the PPS; either the illegal shorters have to double down (illegally), make it legal by showing their hands, or they have to cover as fast as h*ll. Now, if they have to cover, why not try to beat them? smile Also, if they have naked shorted 10-15% of the total OS then this has to be abusive and illegal, would it be ok to do the numbers official?

If collateral shares have been sold, then it would be nice to know that the terms of the loan have been fully adhered to by SIAF, that the lenders are serious (and financial secure) businesses, and that they intend to buy them back (now, if so then maybe SIAF wouldn't disclose that before the lenders have recovered). It would be nice to know how many shares and that not both lenders are doing this (although this information might be difficult for SIAF to disclose).

We probably wouldn't get it, but imagine how the market reacts if SIAF were allowed to give a statement that ABC will - with 100% certainty - provide another loan at least of x millions.

Unfortunately, I believe we STILL are sitting ducks - announcing a GM where the topic will be discussed might no be enough. For any company with credibility it would, but I fear that SIAF doesn't have enough credibility in the market (maybe on Merkur, but not on OTC). I hope it is enough, but I fear that it isn't. Hence, the BOD might need to actually declare the dividend earlier. I'm not confident that they will, but I'll be happy to be wrong smile

However; the increase of the allowed number of shares, and the halt on capex, as well as the statement that TRW will start to repay it's debt to SIAF in Q3, shows that they are aware of the issue and have started to take actions. The PR follows in line with this.

The beauty is that IF the PPS responds like it should, then it might be enough until we get closer to the GM. being a naive scandinavian myself, I believe that it might be enough for Merkur, but I am not very confident that OTC will allow it (as I've said before; the trading on OTC is fishy - why would anyone sell shares on OTC, making it red and at a price 10-15% below Merkur, when Merkur has been green all day?)

Speaking of PR; Will IR make the PR official on SIAF's website (and Merkur) before Merkur opens tomorrow, are they trying to hit Merkur with the news twice, or don't they think it matters to make it official on Merkur? *sigh*
