Think you are confused on how the stock market works? They voted on it. Anyone who's been around for anytime knows that's a big difference compared to actually following through with it. Could have been done as a safeguard to a hostile takeover, or as a safety net if they needed it this year. But that was voted on at the beginning of the year so why would they use it now that they are about to close this deal? Exactly... They wouldn't. Thank you for giving me more confidence in the shares I hold.
