Not quite, Deva. If a seller takes the bid on large trades and even goes lower, then buys on small orders after mkt quiets and brings mkt back up, price is unchanged but obv had gone lower. The reason is that orders follow price, with a small delay. To sell more in quantity, price must be restored. Once the short position is adequate, they quit managing the price. And this is a short term, 10-20minute type maneuver. Think of a moving average penetration, pull back to the average, and then the real move starts.
