North Carolina began this season with just 10 registered industrial hemp processors. Today, 23 organizations have been qualified as registered hemp processors, more than doubling the infrastructure across the state in less than 6 months.
Industrial Hemp Manufacturing, LLC is one of the 10 original founding members of North Carolina's industrial hemp processing infrastructure.
We can only imagine, but I think there is going to be a lot more hemp arriving in 2018. By some estimates, 2,500 acres of hemp were planted in 2017, with Hemp Inc harvesting from 500 acres. With the infrastructure in place, we should expect the amount of plantings to increase at a similar rate in 2018.
Things looking good here.
