Agreed. It's also troubling that according to EPO their so-called patent wall seems to be deleted.

Does anyone have another way to verify other than what's shown on the EPO?

I don't doubt the French patent because classification changed back in August, but I agree, they could've filed it with that fluff PR that was already reported in mid August, of which the event took place in July to show something other than recycled news.

The status of the European patent to the other countries is however questionable.
