Value is what one is willing to pay.

Book value, market value, and actual value are completely different concepts.

For instance:

One buys a home for $500,000. Ten years pass, and now it's time to sell. The "book value" is $500,000, yet the market has adjusted since the property was originally purchased, hopefully with a moderate rise. So how does one now determine the value? We must ask the market, by assessing the recent sales of comparable properties; what's known as "market value". Over the past 6 months, three comparable homes have sold nearby, averaging $1,000,000, thus arriving at the market value. The decision is made to put the home on the market at $1,100,000. After the long consideration of many offers, the seller agrees to a price of $1,055,000. HOWEVER, before the closing, a new offer is submitted, now at $1,250,000. "WOW! Wait!? What?! That's not the 'value' of that home", one might proclaim. Yet, does the seller refuse this offer? No. Never. Because, it is, indeed, the "actual value"; what one is willing to pay.

I think most of the savvy ones can understand how dilution will affect any stock, thinning out what one thinks they currently hold... but the market will ultimately dictate value, with strong demand into growing markets.

The OS rising is not something one would want in a dying market. That is not the case here, therefore all that noise is mute. Nonetheless, it seems to be the primary platform for some campaigns.

Even with a rising OS, what is more important is how many of the new shares are being acquired, thereby reducing the float. If the float is low, that means not many of those new shares are available, therefore, demand for those shares is significant. When the OS rises and the float increases would mean that no one is interested in the newly printed shares, showing weak demand.

Yes, the world is full of derps. Still awaiting my award for "Best Alias".
