Why is there a new CUSIP for MCCU on every reputable brokerage firm I have called inquiring about ORRV ticker?

From Etrade:

We have a new CUSIP for ticker and name change for ORRV. We expected this change about a week ago but are still waiting on an effective date. We have no further information at this time.


Scottrade, Ameritrade, Fidelity, all the same.

Is ORRV a scam? Is MCCU a non existent company scam about to get FINRA approval for ticker change? I don't know, but odds are, you wouldn't hear any of this from any reputable broker if it were a scam.
