Switch to Etrade. I use to use fidelity and always had problems. With Etrade, whatever your account value is you can instantly deposit and use. So for example if you have 3k in your account and deposit 5k, then you can use 3k while there is a 3 day hold on the remaining 2k. This only lasts for a few weeks and then I suppose once you prove yourself with clear transactions you can deposit anything and have it available immediately.
