Started with etrade (got mad at the fees but love the up to the second data with optionshouse), sooo I started buying at fidelity (cheaper otc trades), felt the user experience was poor, then I learned that td ameritrade has level 2 data (which I still can't find there anywhere) and with that I got think or swim, which has let me combine my portfolios (thankfully) using the paper money feature you mentioned.
I also use robinhood, because I like to trade on the go and that doesn't integrate to any platforms I'm aware of BUT, you can't trade otcs there :(
Any reason I can't access/find level 2 with TD? I understand at Etrade and others you have to be a certain level of trader.
And sorry to post non RTTR stuff here, and really thanks for your help. Saw your tvix post and I'm in that game as well :)
