Ahvena; Sorry if us fanatics come on to hard, please don't be scared by it frown Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish trolls from honest posters, so replies might be a bit harsh sometimes. I believe you are an honest poster with a valid topic (at least a valid concern).

Musk did not predict the shareprice, but we don't know that Solomon did either - keep in mind that this was a private phone-call where TS were worried about the PPS. TS has already said that he might have misunderstood, and his post said that "Solomon reckon that it would only take a $20 million buyback program to get the share price up to $20". This can very well be loose talks about WHAT COULD happen if they spent 20MUSD.

Regarding Musk; You could accuse him for giving false guidance in terms of PPS, which was my point. Also, one might speculate if he's trying to influence the PPS (which I don't think he was). You can also accuse him for destroying shareholder value by trashing the high PPS.

Also, TS wrote; "This is what he is leaning for right now". Leans for... I.e he's considering it - well, that is NOTHING new, they've been talking about buybacks for a long time. If he leans towards spending 20MUSD with the goal to get the PPS up to 20$, then he should watch his tongue, but we don't know that this is what he said. From my understanding Solomon gave a random number to make a point.

We also have the whole COSO-strategy which solely purpose is to increase the PPS (well, release shareholder value). Our current book value is 25$ so a goal of 20$ (if it was a goal) shouldn't be surprising (although might not be acceptable if it was communicated as a goal they are targeting).

For my purpose on this site, I am here to learn; mainly facts about SIAF, but I am also happy to learn about laws. I have no problem to admit that I don't know where the line should be drawn between what they CAN and CAN NOT say, but they are not allowed to disclose inside information. To me TS's post didn't fall into that category, but please feel free to educate me towards the details of the law since my impression is that - at some point - it is a fine line/grey area.
