Did anyone really expect any sort of significant decline in the short interest? Adxs short interest has remained at or near 10 million shares since prior to the AMGN deal. Please correct me if I am wrong?? If this is HFT manipulation I do not expect to see a decline in the short interest due to the fact they are colluding to short and cover on the way down leaving the short interest net the same. What will tell you if this is real selling is the institutional ownership when it comes out. Bottom line something is happening. It's either being manipulated down due to impending good news or someone knows bad new is coming.
