I don't think they're shorting anymore but I think they are extremely short and there is no sales volume to speak of that is why they manipulate any sells and buys they do get to keep the price down while trying to build inventory. They are trying to create volume with mirror trades to entice sellers into thinking it's selling off. They are desperate I think. I think they know further shorting is out of the question at this pps and the fact that the vast majority of the stock is being held tightly leaves them no choice but to try and shake shares. Believe it or not, they too are stuck between a rock and a hard place unless there is a selloff. If news doesn't materialize soon I think we will see a steady decline in share price as they keep shaking. JMO.
