It sounds to me like you're actually suggesting their phone is not working on purpose... Is that really what you meant to imply?

What legitimate company would ever do that?

It makes no sense.

I could understand if they let all of their calls go to voicemail to filter them ...but not having a working phone system on purpose? Wow! You might need to question the leadership of a company that would do something like that.

It is a justifiable concern for sure.
