You invest in a stock you believe in.
The stock gets a CTO for putting out a false report labeling itself as a scam.
Now do you protect yourself from the scam by exiting?
OR
Do you take more money and buy more of the scam?
Anyone who is responsible for a fund (or just anyone)that invests in stocks will exit a stock with such a huge red flag.
Dan should have known to protect himself from the CTO.
It's very very simple.
I never stated Dan should have known a CTO was coming.
But when it showed it's ugly face Dan just took people's money and invested in a scam.
That is the only reason he was busted.
Funds make bad trades all the time and lose money. But they are not sued because that's just the risks.
But when the risk is in your face and you invest anyway you neglected your duties or are just plain stupid.
