Sorry, but, you don't seem to know much about how corporations operate. I might agree with you that in a technology driven company, maybe engineers should have a say in how things are run. Heck, there was a time that some companies were driven by the "smart guys". As a Drexel grad, I wanted to believe that but it just is not true.

You actually posted the reason why it isn't true. Engineers want to test and trial things too much and for far too long. First to Market is often first to the bank. With technology, real change comes fast. Markets are created and profits are generated way faster than "the good old days". Sorry, but R&D and Marketing & Sales are driving businesses now. Finance and Legal have a seat at the table. Engineers have went back to school to teach or get MBAs and other business degrees. So, invest in ONCI and make some money or take a few business courses at night in how to operate in today's business climate. Good luck. Go ONCI
