Maybe you're confused on what an ad is. Search google for 'mother's touch diapers'. Top of page is a sponsored shopping ad to purchase through Walmart. Walmart pays google for that advertisment, specifically to have it generate at the top of results whenever 'mother's touch diapers' is searched to drive buyers to their website. Walmart effectively does this for all their stock. By virtue of being carried by Walmart they are advertised. Now is it an outreach campaign, no, but Walmart IS paying to have ads of mother's touch...just like all their products.
