Yep, there is other speculation as well that Pacific Sands went dark in a battle with the debt holder.

It looks like that last note might be cleared up now by means of the Kenosha Area Business Association loans, either directly, or by covering operating costs that allowed them to profit and pay off the note. The specifics have not been revealed.
