Nowhere it stated that Balita requested an extension. The entire time, they were working to close at 9/15/17, and with hatching out the details, such as getting the plane to be leased from AerLine, an additional $300,000 was put in, which is about the cost of doing a C-Check.
It's just simply hatching out the details and with the agreement to lease a plane from Aerline is reasonable for them to buy Songbird for a great price.
Empirestock said it best...it is likely that USGlobal may partner up with Xtra Airways, which is also owned by Aerline.
