Austrianova won L’Oreal’s Innovation Runway Start-up Challenge 2017 this week, claiming a cash prize as well as a contract to develop a novel product with L’Oreal. This after an arduous selection procedure which saw an initial 100 companies from all over the world shortlisted to 12 and then wittled down to 5 in a second round. The grand finale was held during the SWITCH TechInnovation event at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore on Tuesday 19th Sept. With a 5 minute technology presentation followed by 5 minutes of Q&A from 6 expert overseas judges, our COO, John Dangerfield was able to convince the panel of the incredible potential of Austrianova’s encapsulation technology in the cosmetic space and went on to win the Innovation Runway.
