Jay Ajayi (knee) returned to Dolphins practice on Friday, but he "seemed to have a slight hitch when running."
The Miami Herald also reports Ajayi had a black sleeve on his right knee. Ajayi entered the NFL with concerns about his knees, and slipped to the fifth round of the draft when his college tape and athleticism both suggested he should have gone early on day two. We expect Ajayi to play against the Jets, but his health is now a real concern. Damien Williams is his direct backup.
