It turns out this was an attempt for Notis to sell product to a related party without disclosing it. It didn't appear in the last 10-Q filing for period ending 6/30/16.
Everything fell apart when the crop was ordered to be destroyed.
There is still a big balloon note due August 1, 2018. If not paid the farm reverts back to the seller Southwest Sod. The value of the land has most certainly gone up since Notis purchased it but I'm sure there is a ton of litigation attached to it which might make it very difficult to sell.
