L2 is going to update constantly and what was there yesterday doesn't determine what's there tomorrow or the next. The ask will be loaded in relation to volume and sentiment and nothing else. It's just as easy for a seller holding 10mill bags at trip 1s to move his ask from 2s to 3s and so on. Especially when he sees the volume come in. It's no secret. It'll move if the sentiment is favorable. If not, bags all around.
