The LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) maintains a "quasi-monopoly" on alcoholic beverage sales in Ontario — Canada's most populous province with over 13 million people, or almost 40% of the nation's population — and as a result is one of the world's largest purchasers of alcoholic beverages.
LCBO is the Board that will be selling the MJ, as opposed to having to set up multiple distribution channels. As much as the citizens dislike that monopoly, suppliers love the fact that once they get in with the LCBO they have province wide distribution already established.
Being with them for MJ distribution would be enourmous
