Are you talking about Mark? His lifelong project was not necessarily to be CEO was it really? His lifelong career was as a material physicist, so in reality he is actually moving to focus on his lifelong skill set and let someone else deal with the tedium of running the business side. He is not the first start up CEO to move to CTO and focus on what he does best. Many would consider it a good move for a company.
