That less than 5% of the addresses own 96% of the Bitcoins says it all. Bitcoin is not widely owned or used. It's pure speculation, plain and simple. I don't see it being accepted enough universally to be any big deal. That's what will eventually make it obsolete. The Bitcoin "Miners" will eventually figure that out, when the price craters.
