otcsource: Although there appears to be several pretty decent partnerships close to becoming reality in several parts of the world there have been delays and glitches. Much of this material can be gleaned from PRs that have gone out since last Summer. There have been a couple of updates over the months.
Remember HCTI is a very small, very young costly company to run due to the high cost of R&D on each and every product. It is not as if there is one. Each partner requires different chemistries and in differing quantities and don't overlook legal costs to draw contracts on each also have a big impact.... very costly.
The company has in the last year been able to successfully modify its requirements to form a partnership, now having the costs fairly shared with its new partners. But the costs of getting to this early stage in the commercial process has been enormous.
If you read the releases thoroughly you will get a better idea of what may be coming over the next six to nine months or so: companies out of Europe, from the Nuremburg show last April; and several possible partnerships in Asia as well. There have been mentions of foam development (again different cos and different foam requirements), some out of Asia. Possible paint or coatings deals out of Asia as well.
In some cases it is possible to estimate, in terms of the calendar that there should be news popping from some of these. It does take time and effort to read the releases and from time to time revisit in order to keep the sequence of events in order.
